I don't have any inside information on this one. Most developers use public betas as a chance to iron out the last few bugs (the ones that only show up when hundreds or thousands of people use the program and do things the developers haven't thought of). I have had problems with calendar syncing in the past with .Mac (the kind where everything goes *poof*). So - for me at least - removing the beta label will make me feel more comfortable using it.

I jumped to purchase BusySync at the mere thought that it would sync with my Google Calendar. It wasn't until setup that I found out that the version I had downloaded (1.5) did NOT sync with my Google Calendar. I immediately downloaded the 2.0 Beta and have been syncing away ever since. Works great. I had forgotten about the "beta" aspect until I read your blog. Will there be any discernible changes in the non-beta 2.0?
